The TBose Solution
Technocorp developed a specialized commercial solution to centralize the operations of an enterprise online via its TBose product, by consolidating internal MIS (management information systems) functions.

The efficient organization of corporate IT services, under the TBose product, allows an enterprise to offload redundant services to Technocorp as a service broker.

A decade later, Technocorp is able to leverage this knowledge on the delivery of corporate IT solutions to customers. As a service broker, Technocorp will provision those required services from suppliers.

Generally, an evolving enterprise requires a stack of business services:

BUSINESS SERVICES STACK
Servers, Email, Enterprise Messaging, SMS, Phone, Voicemail, Tablets, Startup/Other Services Resources
Custom Business Website, Data Collection from Sensors, Mobile & Web Apps As Services Consultation & Development
TBose Platform
As A Service
Deployment Analysis, Installation, Configuration, Support, Education & Training
Infrastructure
As A Service
Provision Equipment & Phone Numbers, Maintenance & Administration
Note that the delivery of a full business services stack is dependent on the availability of allocated brokers and resources in a region.

The stack of business services is customized to fit the allocated budget of each customer and is implemented in phases.

It is easier for an entrepreneur to simply and quickly adopt a custom solution, when doing a startup.

However, an existing business will require a dedicated employee to work with the suppliers of the services and resources provisioned by Technocorp, in order to properly execute the necessary business analysis and change management processes for the successfully delivery of any solution.

The following is a summary of some of the issues the TBose solution addresses:
  • An evolving enterprise needs a private business network in the cloud for workers, clients, and suppliers or partners;
  • An evolving enterprise needs to optimize its business management information services requirements as it operates online;
  • Human resources management online requires security controls on access to data, files, content and business services by workers;
  • An enterprise operating online requires security controls on access to data, files, content and business services by customers, partners and the public website;
  • IT requirements needed to be simplified and be well structured, in order for Technocorp to broker the efficient use of resources; and
  • Technocorp has to provide the online evolving enterprise with optimized communication services, including business class email services, SMS and internal message services, enterprise phone and voicemail services for workers, including interactive applications with the enterprise phone system.
Projects are extensive and Technocorp usually takes on interesting projects through personal introductions.
The TBose Product

See this link for a brief view of TBose: TBose V2.   Note TBose V 3.0.0.0 is under development. See section on Limitations And Disclaimer below.

TBose is actually short for Technocorp Business O/S for Enterprises, which is the natural evolution of the original Technocorp Business Operating System Engine over the years.

The TBose product is delivered as an integrated solution consisting of a product and a set of business management information services (BMIS) to set up and run a digital enterprise in the cloud.

The TBose product is conceptually an extensible business web framework for the development of enterprise services, with an integrated proprietary security model to control access to these services, including data, content and files by the public, customers, partners and workers.

The TBose solution is a structured stack of services, and this allows the digital enterprise to offload the technical complexities of the BMIS details as structured requirements with fixed costs to Technocorp as a service broker.

Custom Business Website, Data Collection from Sensors, Mobile & Web Apps As Services Consultation & Development

Note that the delivery of a full business services stack is dependent on the availability of allocated brokers and resources in a region.

So, the TBose product
  • is cloud based, and is delivered under a subscription model, supported and managed by Technocorp as a service and resources broker;
  • integrates customer, partner and human resources management;
  • provides security controls on centralized access to data, files, content and custom services by all users, including the public website;
  • provides a private messaging system integrated with email and sms, a chat service, and an integrated cloud based phone system with voicemail extensions for workers; and
  • can be delivered over a negotiated period and within the budget of most startup projects.

Background On TBose
The TBose system was designed by Anthony Sukdeo, an experienced systems and information integrator. Fundamentally, it was a unique vision on how to separate the data from the UI.

The TBose system began as the Business Operating System Engine software. It was created out of a need to make reliable, to simplify, and to make portable, a data I/O subsystem to MySQL, using the PHP Data Objects extension. Then, the next stage was to develop the UI for the TBose system as a HTML platform running highly interactive Javascript applications.

So, the whole system was developed and tested in stages over a number of years, and funded privately. This is how the Technocorp Bose software evolved into the Technocorp Business O/S for Enterprises.

and is positioned as a structured enterprise cloud solution for a small business to rapidly grow into as it offloads its business management information services to Technocorp. The TBose (now called Technocorp Business O/S for Enterprises) software naturally evolved out of the Business Operating System Engine. The latter was created out of a need to make reliable, to simplify, and to make portable, the data I/O to MySQL using the PHP Data Objects extension in a HTML platform running highly interactive Javascript applications.

Anthony Sukdeo designed TBose on an early 90's client-server model, where the client is decoupled from the server over a telephone wire, in order to minimize data transfer.  This model avoids or eliminates embedding PHP in HTML, and it is a non-standard approach to the common use of the server-side scripting language.  There was also the motivation to develop something radically different from previous works, and to eliminate the use of cookies to track connections.

Developed and tested in stages over a number of years, and funded privately, the TBose evolved into the Technocorp Business O/S for Enterprises, and is positioned as a structured enterprise cloud solution for a small business to rapidly grow into as it offloads its business management information services to Technocorp.  This was a revisionist approach to the traditional extended enterprise model:
A traditional extended enterprise is a large business with multiple divisions, and corresponding infrastructures, with services that are accessible by the public, workers, customers and partners.

The increasing speed and reliability of the global web, or internet cloud, is making it possible for multiple divisions of the extended enterprise to be consolidated down into one centralized system.  The improved management, efficiencies and access control serve to minimize operating costs for a competitive advantage.

The driving force to compete, couple with the increasing speed of the cloud, is accelerating the consolidation effort by companies.  But unlike a small business growing to fit into a structured enterprise system like the TBose, a large company has a huge challenge to consolidate traditional practices down on to a custom model under a change management process, involving systems and processes migration, integration, security and retraining challenges.
Initially, when it was a smaller and a less complex system, the Business Operating System Engine was made available under a licence agreement as a required component for projects delivered by Technocorp.   But as it evolved into a more complex system, requiring tighter integration into a hosting environment, and requiring expertise beyond that of most small businesses, the TBose was made affordable under a subscription licence model as part of a hosted solution provisioned and managed by Technocorp. Note, private cloud deployments will be done on a case-by-case basis.

Technical Overview
As a product, the Technocorp Business O/S for Enterprises defines a business architecture that allows the user interfaces of applications to be decoupled from the reusable server side services, to easily support machine-to-machine communication and mobile application integration, and it provides a unique programming model for the development of additional custom services and applications as required.

As previously mentioned, the TBose is the natural evolution of the original Business Operating System Engine over the years. The original product started out as a PHP PDO data I/O interface to MySQL and the web browser.

The collection of web page applications can be customized to define special TBose desktops for the enterprise workers, customers and partners.

The web window applications are built on client services to handle CRUD (create, retrieve, update and delete) operations on remote information in the TBose system.

The client services in web window applications are decoupled from the reusable server side services.

To address the complexity and security in developing for such an enterprise system, a unique programming model was created, termed the TBose Programming Model.  The approach taken was to create something that the average programmer can use to easily add services to the system.

On the client side, the TBose Javascript Framework, a specialized lightweight pure Javascript framework, was created to simplify the complexity in developing and running multiple web window applications in a single web page.  But on its own, this is yet another framework that is totally useless.

On the server side, the server services collectively define the specialized TBose middleware that provides a standardized interface through which computing devices can securely access business information over the internet.

The TBose PHP Framework was created to simplify the complexity in developing server services in the TBose.

Limitations And Disclaimer
TBose V 3.0.0.0 is under development. All prior versions are frozen and are no longer supported.

The TBose software is owned by Technosoft Business Systems. It is provided "AS IS", "WITH ALL FAULTS" and "WITHOUT SUPPORT" by Technosoft Business Systems under a licence agreement.  In other words, Technosoft Business Systems does not provide updates and patches to the software on demand.  Also, Technosoft Business Systems is a small business and disclaims any responsible and liabilities for failures in the software, and/or collapse of any business running on the software as a result of any faults manifested in the software.

Note, for entrepreneurs choosing a solution that uses the TBose software, SECITS is a separate entity that manages the licences, and manages the delivery of the stack of business services to deploy, host and support the online corporations on TBose. This means that an entrepreneur has to directly negotiate a service level agreement with SECITS for help in starting up and running a corporation on TBose.  It is recommended that the entrepreneur purchase liability insurance for the operations of a corporation, when it starts delivering services to customers.
